Hm, the idea with the remittance sounds pretty good, but instead of asking Pelly, why not
using the ABD for this? Like the ABD could offering remittances which you could use to send
bells to a friend. The ABD shows you the list of people you registered on your Switch's friend
list and if the player is online who you want to send bells then you can make a remittance in
which you type in the amount of bells you want to send to this person, maybe also with a
little message so that person knows why you send it. The other person then gets a letter in
the mailbox which gives the information that this player got that amount of bells from that
player. So basically, all you need to do is you being connected with the internet and the
person who should get the bells too so that you can make a remittance. You don't need to
visit the person who you want to give bells anymore and you also save a lot of time which
you would waste by dropping or pick up the bells from the player's town.
I mean, with something like this, the ABD would become more useful and it would be probably
pretty helpful for people who want to trade with IGB.
The Re-tail method could still work if they simply brought back the debit card item so you don't have to fill your inventory full of bell bags, but I agree they could just make it easier in general. Alternatively, a bank transfer system could make things much easier when paying off home loans, or as you said transferring bells to another player. Although I don't think they should make it too simple otherwise I can imagine some siblings stealing eachothers bells!
I like this idea, I've been transferring millions of bells to my other characters to restart the town, and lemme tell you, picking up only 1.6 mil at a time with one character, dropping it, having the other one pick it up, and put it in the ABD is a drag. All while doing this by myself on 2 systems.
Yeah, it can be a pain to transfer so many bells. It would be nice to be able to have a quicker way to do it. I plan on doing lots of trading on the AC Switch game, so an easier way to do it would be great to have!
