Trading (Please read) Help me get Raymond for someone who was scammed.

I know the looking for thread is the place but I'm kinda at a loss and at my wits end. Let me give you the story...

Last night, I saw a user on the Nookazon discord got scammed out of 400nmt whilst looking for villagers of my own. I just couldnt overlook it and contacted her, and having been looking over everywhere to find him for as low a price I can get so she can have the villager raymond she was scammed out of, cut to today...

I've been contacting multiple people on the same disc in hope of finding her Raymond, thought I finally did but they were a scammer as well, so now shes not only lost 400nmt before but now an additional 150nmt and almost 2mil bells, I also lost 50nmt in this as well.

I'm just so bummed out that all of this horrible business has happened, but I want to keep trying to get her Raymond. I do have him myself but hes such a big dream of mine that I will only give him as a last ditch attempt, anyways...

Please, please if anyone at all can give her Raymond for free or a very very low price since shes almost lost everything and I'm losing supplies too I would just...just please anyone help me get him to her. I will be cautious of those with not much feedback just to protect her and myself, any help would be so nice...

considering that the person who made this has been here since 2015 i think it’s legit. also that’s just being extremely insensitive and off topic to the actual problem at hand. (and offered evidence need be**)

can you elaborate on how you and the person got scammed? if you shut off the switch during a session it should cancel everything that happened regardless if it auto saves

but i’ll keep an eye out for him

I’m so sorry this happened! I just sold Raymond last night that my friend had :c Discord is not a trustworthy place and neither is reddit in my opinion! I advise everyone to trade here!! There is less scammers and if there is a scamming issue, it is (imo) dealed with much quicker than with other places. I also feel like if you leave a bad review, the scammers career here is over, since everyone will know. I hope you find raymond soon <3

I will if I cant find him through other means, but for now I'm trying my best to find him elsewhere, you can check my feedback for reassurance if needs must. But yeah I just have to at least try for her

Well, I posted an ad about Raymond in her stead and they contacted me saying they could give him for 250nmts and 20mil bells, and my dumbass self in just wanting her to get him I agreed. We both joined him island and I placed my half down (I was adding in 100nmt of my own), and she put down the bells and 150 nmt. It was only when she left to get more bells that I saw Raymond walking around outside and I knew something was up so I told her not to return until it was hashed out. At first I thought he was a new player since he kept saying that hes in boxes what's wrong, but when raymond walked past us he started saying it must be a glitch. So I said if it is then just give back the bells and nmt and reset your connection and we'll come back so it's all good. Then he started going off that I took Raymond and that I scammed him and am such a heartless person whilst I just kept asking for what has been paid so far back and that it's impossible for raymond to have been taken. Just kinda went round in circles like that

omg, what a horrible story like for real ... I can´t believe that with all the new players of ACNH a lot of douchebags came, too. I mean seriously animal crossing was KNOWN for having a very kind and nice community. Now it is pretty messy out there...
I have Raymond myself just found him yesterday for god sake. I tried to make some deals too at Nookazon but there was literally a thread where somebody wanted resident evil 2 for him I would give your friend some NMT because I have some left and have all my dreamies ^^just DM me for further managment

Awww thank you so much for thinking of me, really! Yeah you cant trust a lot these days especially on disc servers but I think this person is genuine. The reason i say that is because before i even offered to help her look for Raymond at first i offered her NMTs and bells and she refused to take anything off me, even when we both were scammed and she has almost nothing she kept being grateful and saying I didnt need to do so much for her. It could just be me trying to see the good in everyone but I...I'm gonna put my trust in her ^^
