Plot Resetting HELP

Hey guys, so I'm trying to figure out exactly how the hec to plot reset and so far I haven't found anything that really helps. So bare with me here.

I know that I have to set my in game clock to before 6 AM with my mayor before someone moves in and then start a new save file. I did this and didn't see Freya's house show up. So that brings me to my next question: after recruiting someone from another village how long does it take for their nasty, unfinished house to appear? I messed up pretty bad with this on Chief and I kind don't want another mistake lol.

I'm pretty sure it's within 2 days that the plot will appear.

im pretty sure if you wanna do it correctly you have to change the time from the nintendo 3ds settings??? you aren't supposed to load ur mayors file on the same day I think

Timetravel to the next day at 5:56am with your Mayor, save quit, wait a few minutes and start a new save file, reply to Rovers questions and once your in the town look around for the plot, if you do not see it, restart again the process of creating another save file, keep doing this until the villager is in your desired plot. Sometimes villagers do indeed take more than a day to appear, but just check with the new safefile, if you have the savefile and it's after 7am without a plot then Freya will NOT move in on that day. So just repeat the process but for the next upcoming day.

The plot can appear the next day but sometimes it may take longer, so just keep trying. If you're not finding a plot at all after a few attempts and just want to play that day normally, save as the new character and then load as your mayor. When you're ready to plot reset again, just delete the new character.

If you've saved as the new character, by the way, it will save the current state in which the new villager hasn't moved in yet, so you have to quit without saving and start a new character every time you're checking for a plot.

Just be patient, sometimes they take longer than a day to arrive.
