lol where are you looking? anyone i know is glad to do most whatever the customer wants unless its REALLY weird fetish stuff. i actually did a vent pic for someone (and never got paid but HAHA oh well), so its most certainly not unheard of. i think what you experience is people dont really ask for vent pics, or even darker themes in general. they just do it themselves, usually. but i know artists are more than willing to do so.
I look on Deviantart most of the time.
I'm only an artist on paper. I have no talent in digital art. (When it comes to drawing)
So I'm a little... uneducated(?) when it comes to requesting art like that.
That and I am SUPER picky when it comes to art. :<

i personally like doing stuff like that, i may not be the best at it but i do enjoy it, as do many artists. SO YEAH basically all you have to do is ask and as long as its not on their "no" list then it should be okay

I just prefer realistic/darker themed art.
