Arriving at Santalune City, I defided that my now level 11 Litleo should be able to take on Viola, So I walked over, where I nearly fell on the fragile webbing within the gym. Carefully making my way over to the leader, I challenged her to a battle.
"Litleo, use ember!" I shouted, and she did. The battle was very close, but I narrowly beat her and was awarded my very first badge.
"Yay!" I exclaimed, jumping for joy, as I used Viola's warp pad to exit the gym, and skate to the pokemon center to heal.
(Yes, I know, I was just making a reference to the beginning.)
"Wait... are guys secretly in love or something? Because you're acting the same way when I was at Santalune. You didn't say anything there, and you're not saying anything now."
I leave Camphrier Town and head for Parfum Palace, but instead I try going down Routes 7 and 6 very quietly and undetected by anybody. After that, I decide to go the fields around Route 6 and train. After that, while I'm trying to get to Parfum Palace, I see a Beldum tied to a tree. "Oh...This Pokemon following me...Are you hurt?" I then look at it and notice that it's HP's in the red, and it has the burned status. I quickly rush to a Pokemon Center, where I find this boy and he starts talking to me. "Hey, y'know that Beldum I left in that field? It's weak! I had it but whoever found that could keep it. They could make it their slave for all I care." (HM Slave refrerance) I sas suprised how this guy treated Beldum, so as I was suprised as I walk out of the Pokemon Center. I then make it back to the Palace.
"Your knee?" I could see that he was a bit upset. I decided to, rather than pounce on his anger, back away. I didn't need two people get really mad at me this early into the journey. "The running must've got to you. Maybe we can sit somewhere in Parfum Palace." At this point, we were already at the gate. The admissions were forked over, and we went inside.
I notice the rest of the group pay and go in, so I do the same and catch up to everyone else. "Huff...Puff...Man that was a long run...Maybe next time I should try not to run far distances. Anyway, who's that other guy? I think I've seen him before, but I don't think we ever got properly introduced."
