Ok, so this morning I was in my basement playing TP when my little sister came down and informed me that she and my mother were going to Wal Mart. So I decided to go and see what Wii games they had. I would soon regret that decision.

So we got there and I bolted to the video games while my mom and sister sought some supplies for her new hamster. I noticed they were out of Mario Party 8, but they had a few PKMN BR left in stock. So I went to one of the employees and asked if they could get it out of the case. He was a real jerk. He seemed upset that I needed his help from the start, but then he realized what game I wanted.
"Hey kid, you know that if you play Pokemon you'll get made fun of, right?"
I was really ticked off. Nobody tells me how to run my life! So I looked him right in the eye, or as best I could since I was wearing a baseball cap, and said "Do I look like the kind of person that cares?" He just said "Whatever." And that was that.

Now here in Pittsburgh, we've been having some bad storms lately. So it was pouring down rain on the way home. My mom was switchin lanes because the guy in front of us was going way to slow. Like so slow he couldn't have used the excuse that he was just being careful! So anyways, she was switching lanes when some dumb teenagers cut us off, and we started swerving from side to side! Luckily my mom managed to gain control before we crashed.

So I really do like Pokemon BR. The graphics are awesome, but it lacks much to do other than battleing. I know, that's what it's for, but a few minigames on the side wouldn't hurt. Also, there isn't much to do as far as customizing your character goes. But it's still a great game.

And I swear, that story is true. All of it.

What an idiot. That guy should be fired... that's not the way to make a sale. Plus he's living in the past, Pokemon is back in style =0

he was probably like 17 or something like that
Looked about that age. Once at Toys R Us there were these two teenagers (who worked there) talking, and every other word out of their mouth rhymed with duck. I have plenty of bad store employee experiences.

Yeah, I encounted a LOT of people like that here in California... Trying to find things in stock over the phone is pretty bad.

Urgh, you bought PBR? Bad decision mate.
Whaaat?

Maybe for someone who isn't obsessed with D/P, its a bad decision...:p

From what I hear, there are certain pokemon that are normally very hard to find, easily obtainable in PBR. Along with the impossible-to-get-in-D/P, Surfing Pikachu.

I'm not sure how great the actual storyline of the game is, though. If it's anything like Colloseum or Gale of Darkness, it probably isn't good. >_<

But if its like Stadium (which I don't think it is...), it'll be amazing.

It is like Stadium.... Which is why I think it'll suck. I WANT 3D POKEMON GAME THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ORRE, SHADOW POKEMON, OR ANY STUPID STUFF LIKE THAT! GRAAAAAAH! *RAMPAGE!*

Pokemon Stadium had absolutely nothing to do with "ORRE" or "SHADOW POKEMON".

It was for the N64, and there was really no point other than battling friends and stuff.

:p

You may be thinking of Colloseum...

You can catch Pokemon in BR? You know more about the game than I do.

There is no storyline, sadly. You pick a colloseum, battle 5 trainers, beat a 6th in the semi-final match, then beat the colloseum boss.

But storyline or no storyline, still a great game.

I know that. But when Colloseum was released, I imagined an actual POKEMON game. With the tall grass, the Pokeballs, the gyms, the Elite 4... Not some lame excuse.

I never said you could catch them, they are rewarded to you for completing certain parts of the game. For example, I believe you can recieve an Electrive or Magmortar for completing some "Gold and Silver ticket" thing.

So it is like Pokemon Stadium then, JJ?

Oh, I see. I've only beaten the first two colloseums, which have got me about 750 Poke-Coupons, (the currency), and access to the third colloseum.

But, you can spend the coupons on rare items that are transferred to D/P!

And I've never played stadium. The only other console game I've played is Colloseum, which I rented. It was okay.

Pokemon Stadium sounds a lot like this game, and IMO, Stadium wasn't bad at all.

Colloseum is the one I didn't like, and I didn't bother to get Gale of Darkness.

Umm...Pokemon Stadium 1/2 were great games. Colosseum/XD sucked.....and this game is probably no where as good as Stadium. So yeah, I'm not picking it up.

@Storm: Pokemon isn't back in style....IMO its actually lower than it was because DP weren't good games, this could be the worst generation ever. There is no replay value once you beat the game really....whatever.

No Replay Value? I'd definately have to disagree with you on that. If anything, D/P has the greatest replay value of any other pokemon game, with online play and all that.

;)

I barely have even played it after I beat the Elite 4 and caught like all the legendaries. The other games I have over 100 hours and I probably beat the Elite 4 in those games in like 15 hours. In this game I beat the Elite 4 at like 30 hrs and maybe I've played 5 hours more.
