Watching the anime, seeing the contests were my favorite part. I loved watching the creative moves and combinations the trainers could come up with. And, with technology the way it is, I feel like this concept is more possible now than ever. As someone who picks their teams with aesthetic in mind, this kind of game would be right up my alley.

Yes! I loved pokemon contests so much.

Dawn vs Zoey- A grand fight for the finish, or whatever its called is my favourite anime episode. I loved it so much

I would love to see this as well. But we already have the Pok?mon contest in the Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and in the ORAS remake how it is unfortunately. And the fact not many people plays pok?mon contest in ORAS makes me a bit sad as everyone focuses a lot on pok?mon battle.

I mean Pokken Tournament showed what Nintendo could do in terms of impressive battling; I say they take this format and make a new game, where it's like a "free" setting so you can do the pokemon contest (the little beauty show-off thing where there are routines, and then the battles)

I love the concept of your idea and how enthusiastic you are on how we have the technology for said contest. But the Pok?mon company and nintendo has made Pok?mon more about battle than it is about Pok?mon Contest. I would get the game if they make it, but right now, I doubt they will do so.

I dunno, Pokken is a step in the right direction. It was such a huge deal in the anime, I just wish the whole coordinator thing could get its own game

I love contests too! Unfortunately I can't really see them making a very large or detailed game about it, even if they get a lot of fan support. I mean, we're still waiting for a Pokemon Snap sequel =P. It would be really great if they made a spin-off game focused around contests though. I could see it being somewhat similar to Pokemon Conquest, but with reduced mechanics from the main series games and obviously there would be no need for a battling system.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl (And Platinum) have contests, and they were super cool! It's not really like the anime though, sadly.

I dunno, Pokemon Snap is different, and some people at Nintendo talked about how they needed something more new and original, since now anyone can take pictures anywhere and it's less of a new and exciting concept. There are a lot of spin-off games that I'd love to see.

Oh, after posting this I actually looked up info on a Pokemon Snap sequel just out of curiosity and Junichi Masuda has shown some interest in making a sequel for it. I definitely agree with you though, on the amount of spin-off games I'd like to see. I don't really want to go off-topic here- I could go on about them all for hours- but I'd love to see a Pokemon Coordinator spin-off too. Fingers crossed we get noticed by The Pokemon Company =P

It'd be nice to have someone big show interest in the concept

I would love to see a spin-off game with a contest focus. I loved contests back in third gen, but the super contests presented in the remakes don't really do it for me. My only concern is that contests in the show are highly subjective so I don't know how scoring and creativity would go. Nevertheless, I would probably buy such a game if it looked even remotely good.

Being able to make cool move combos (Like May did a lot) and stuff like that would be awesome.
