The GO Plus accessory is a button that lights up green when there is a Pokemon nearby. Pressing the button will attempt to catch the Pokemon. The light will cycle through rainbow colors if the Pokemon is caught, but will light up red if the capture fails.
The GO Plus basically enables people to play the game without having to hold their phone in their hand to do it. They want people to explore the areas around them, and a person just looking at their phone would not be able to do this.

At first, Pokemon GO will have a selection of Pokemon from the first generation, which they decided on because it's the 20th anniversary of those games. They are planning to eventually have all Pokemon available in the game. Later they will also implement trading between GO players, and they confirmed that there will be compatibility with Sun & Moon. There will also be events where players are encouraged to come together.

The capture of Pokemon is affected by various things. The size of the circle on the Pokemon affects the chance of capture, with the smallest possible giving the highest chance. You can also spin the Poke Ball in order to throw curve balls, which will also positively affect the capture chance.

Evolution is done through the use of candies. Candies are given for capturing Pokemon, and they can be used for powering up Pokemon as well. When wanting to evolve a Pokemon, you need a specific amount of candies. For example, if you want to evolve Squirtle, you need to catch 25 Squirtles to get 25 Squirtle candies, which will allow your Squirtle to evolve into Wartortle.

The exact release date of Pokemon GO has not been confirmed, but they are currently aiming for a release in July. At the same time, the Pokemon GO Plus accessory will be released through certain retailers and online stores, and it will cost $34.99.
