ORAS had slightly better graphics than XY yet still had the same style of graphics. I love how their graphics and smooth running hardware improve every year!

also yeah I'm way more excited for Pok?mon games as well.. I've never really been a hyper LoZ fanperson anyways.
I suppose I'll be the killjoy and say I found the E3 presentation for these games to be really horribly underwhelming
not that there was anything particularly wrong with the games, but if I had to describe it I'd just say "yeah, it's Pokemon". like they could've easily trimmed it down to 5-10 minutes with a core focus on the new content with no negative impact. so having it stretched out much longer than that, when that stretching is just basically all the same basic beats every game before that has had, just made it a chore to sit through for me personally
granted, from what I heard the Zelda showcase kind of was guilty of this too, but I'm more forgiving there. if only because the new Zelda does look to be a radically different departure from the norm. meanwhile the new Pokemon are more or less the same basic games as always, and as such, shouldn't have any reason to drag itself around
though I suppose its also worth noting that I dropped out of the Zelda presentation after the first showcase ended, since I felt content with all I'd seen by that point

I just want to say my default response reading this was "wait why are we talking about yugioh?"
