So I'm not sure if discussions pertaining to video game mods are allowed on the boards, but I'm definitely curious to know if anyone here is currently playing PokeOne?

Basically, PokeOne is one among many MMO Pokemon Mods on the PC. I've played a few, but this one, by far - is my all-time favorite. The 3D rendering looks a lot better than most of the fan MMO's I've played. UI is pretty speedy, and the overall difficulty is not too easy, and not too hard.

If you haven't checked it out yet, I'd definitely recommend it. This fan-MMO also doesn't require you to download emulators or roms, I know that's a huge deal breaker for some people.

Honestly, while they look really cool.. I just don't trust them. They're like any private server for any other MMO like RuneScape, WoW, MapleStory..

They offer you something unique.. but in the end they want your money, and they use other people's property to do it.

I mean, that's pretty much how the MMO market works now day's. However, PokeOne is completely free to play. They do offer cosmetics for players as a way to style your character via lootboxes, but they also give them away for free every hour. I understand companies need to make their money in some way, so I'm alright with them charging for some things, as long as it doesn't take away from the f2p experience, if that is in fact what you claim your game to be.

They're still preying on impatient people via payments using trademarked property.
