Also,
We can have minecraft games too, ( Not competitions, but like olympic like games)
Example - Obstacle course on someone's server,
- Boat races

With new members, even if we do make them welcome there is alot of us that say "Oh, we don't play anymore, but here's the AC section". They must then take that as nobody plays here.
People do need to play again, just give it a go. Start a new town, make lots of friends.
I'm going to get my Wii set up and play some AC later today.

Yeah, Like people always say: "Welcome to TBT, No one plays anymore, enjoy! It's like joining a new school and saying "Welcome to our school, Don't worry we don't do any learning here you might as well leave"

I think people do it because they feel not playing AC anymore makes them part of the "cool kids" here who have moved on and grown up etc. etc.
Either that or they are just dumb.

I like the idea of movie nights, contests we already have, video game tournaments would definitely turn out well as this is a video game based forum. Game playing nights could be fun, I used to see people do that on pokemon but I couldn't really imagine emulators of other games, like Zelda, being streamed. Debate threads kind of also go, maybe Jeremy could create some simple system of debating (costing you bells to post, kicking anyone out of the board if they flame, etc.)
