The Nintendo 64 had some of the best Nintendo games of all time. But we can agree that not all popular N64 games are that great. Which Nintendo 64 games (including Rare games and 3rd party games) do you not like, but a lot of people do like?

I'm not a huge fan of Conker's Bad Fur Day. It's too inappropriate for me, and some of the stuff is gross.

Conker is awesome, but I guess the humor is not for everyone. Personally I love the little I have played.

Also for game I don't like; Super Mario 64. Bad graphics and camera together with clunky controls. I prefer my Mario's 2D thank you.

Also I never got the hype about the 64 Legend of Zelda games. Sure they have might been before their time and have a fantastic story etc. but to be honest it suffer from the same overly ambitious controlling system and what you can do. And some puzzles are overly zealous for the controlling as well.

I could say Mario Party (1), but that's mainly because of that spinning training cycle thing that pretty much broke everyone's controller.

Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire

I feel the visuals have not aged well and the game felt clunky to control. Sold the game a month later...

I really didn't like Mario party or mario kart 64 for some reason. I still own both of them, despite no longer having my N64, they just didn't have great graphics and it all felt a bit clumsy

I used to dislike Super Mario 64. Then I started playing the remake for some reason. I really liked it. I'm not sure if I like the original.

I got stuck on Donkey Kong 64 early on in the game, so I suppose that game too.

I haven't tried many N64 games, so I don't exactly know what I like, and what I dislike.

I pretty much like all of the classics (that I've played) on the N64. Super Mario 64 is probably the most overrated however imo.

Goldeneye. Although the Japanese version is hilarious!

I never played Goldeneye actually. I never really had interest into first person shooters (it's the genre I'm least likely to play), but since it's simple and an N64 classic, I would want to play it. But I don't have an N64 anymore, and the Virtual Console is less likely to release it due to licensing issues.

DK64 was fun, but very tedious when it came to collectibles.

I also remember not caring for that Stars Wars racer game.

Mario Kart 64. Maybe it's because I didn't grow up playing it like most people my age seem to have but legit, I don't like the controls and I don't find it better than any other Mario Kart.

Kinda interesting to see all the dislikes for MK64. Personally it's one of the best because it's not overly easy or family-aimed with helpful things on the tracks, and I love the stupid little glitches you can use or abuse throughout the game. And I actually like the 3D-ish graphics here because they work since it's 'just' a racing game and not an overly ambitious RPG. Yoshi Valley and Rainbow Road FTW. It's a shame how they massacred them in MK8 just because. :|

Wasn't a huge fan of Donkey Kong 64. To be fair, I didn't own it, but I'd play it at my cousin's house sometimes and it just felt tedious. Spyro will always be my favourite item-collecting games.

I won't say I dislike Mario Kart 64, but I'm pretty sure one of the few reasons I enjoy it now is just nostalgia. That unfair AI is such bullcrap. But back in the day, it was the best Mario Kart that was out there.

I normally don't like first-person shooters either, but 007 games are an exception. Goldeneye was a classic. I recommend trying it even if you don't like FPSs.

Agreeing with this. Goldeneye is pretty far from a generic FPS.

Lol, the ds/3ds had worse AI as for MK games tbh.

Also yeah, never been a fan of Donkey Kong games either, even if I like collecting stuff those games never appealed to me. And I agree with Spyro, up until Seasons/Rhynocs games for GBA. After that they went downhill.

Yeah MK64 has always been the best one for me. I think if you didn't play it before you played Double Dash or any after that it might not seem that great. It was just the first of it's kind. I mean it was the first truly 3D nintendo system so there was a lot to be improved on. They did a brilliant upgrade from the original and MK now is certainly what it is from MK64

I didn't like DK64. I might try it again and see if my opinion has changed

I'm sad about the hate for DK64... It's my favorite game ever.

I'd also say MK64. I think the controls in this game are weird and it's hard to control the karts... But, I remember that it had one of the best Battle Mode ever in a Mario Kart. :)

MK64 battle was a blast, also those lovely lava glitches in the tracks <3 Idek, to me 64 was one of the best 'karts due to its not too easy nature and a bit cheaty AI maybe but at least you had to work in placing top-4 and such not just racing for the sake of it.

I disliked Goldeneye as a kid but I didn't really have the understanding of games to explain why. Now I have enough experience to say it's because I thought even for the time it was mechanically a clunky mess within its control scheme, largely because of the obvious lack of mouse support or duel analog sticks forcing it to have some of the worst FPS mechanics I've ever had the displeasure of putting up with.

Maybe it's because I played Quake before it on my dad's computer whilst for many others Goldeneye would have been the first 3D FPS they played...Even then, I certainly don't understand the people who claim it still holds up today.

Conker's Bad Fur Day. The controls seemed sluggish, the camera angles made some things way more difficult than they should've been, and the game felt like a bunch of mediocre mini-games thrown together. There were some enjoyable parts (especially the singing poo boss fight), and the game was funny in places, but overall the game was disappointing.
