This morning I started up the game like I normally do. I spoke to Daisy Mae and she said turnips were selling for 110 bells. I noticed that sitting at 40,000 I wasn't gonna turn a decent profit even if someone were to let me visit their island with turnips selling for 600 something bells, so I decided to pull more money out of the ABD. However, then I needed to charge my switch so I saved and quit and called the vet, who asked me to bring my kitten in for an emergency check up after she got into my older cat's food.
Well, for the past 27 minutes I've been running my island, including the second and third tiers with 90,000 bells in my pocket looking for Daisy Mae. She isn't anywhere on my island. If you say no to buying turnips and then you save and quit is she programmed to leave the island? Because I've been doing nothing but looking, even ignoring balloons. She has completely disappeared from my island.
For the record I do not time travel so the in-game date and time is April 5, 2020 4:15 pm EST. Has anyone had this happen where they said no, had to turn off the game and came back to find you can't find her anymore?
