I personally believed Animal Crossing Wii U would at least get mentioned yesterday in the Nintendo Direct and coming from someone who is all around uninterested in spin-off titles in my main series games, I feel disappointed.
I've read a number of different articles regarding this topic. The case of whether or not Animal Crossing will be placed on the Wii U is generally considered to not be a question of "if" but more of "when".
We are all aware of the Wii U's unpopular commercial success, however main series titles such as Mario Kart, SSB4 (animal crossing) help to boost such sales, so it is undoubted that surely Animal Crossing with arrive on the Wii U. I was also reading that Animal Crossing main series titles generally get released every 3-4 years and with New Leaf having be released 3 years ago now, we're beginning to progress into that domain of a possible release date being announced.
I believe that Animal Crossing Wii U will not be announced for AT LEAST the next few months to allow for the hype to die down off a few of the games announced in the Nintendo Direct, the new Animal Crossing spin off games as well as some monstrously huge games having been dropped in the games industry lately (BO3 + Fallout 4). I believe the Wii U Animal Crossing game should get announced early next year, possibly through another Nintendo Direct and will not be released until either this time 2016 or early 2017.
Just my thoughts, what are yours, I'm interested to know
