Predict a possible Mar 18 (anniversary?) update and win 200tbt

Hello guys!

Much like the Mario update thread I did, which I thought was pretty fun, I wanted to do another prediction game for you guys so you can win 200 TBT! In the previous thread, someone accurately predicted the pipes could take you to different parts of the island and won 200 tbt!

So, whoever makes the best/most accurate prediction of an upcoming March 18th update gets to win.

Keep in mind, this is all in good sport. We don’t know for sure if something big is coming, but let’s have fun with it.

i think there will only be sanrio characters for march 18th however, they might make a new rv area on harv's island because the trailer said ur able to order the sanrio furniture so i thought this might be how u order it
this could just be me getting my own hopes up though lol

trying to keep expectations fairly minimal so aside from getting all the sanrio things, just a simple anniversary cake would be lovely!

I don’t know if there will be much more than the Sanrios, but i’d be happy with just them. But maybe they’d include a gift from nintendo like we usually get in the mail. Or some special nook shopping items?

Yes, I think it'll be only Sanrio characters for this day, which is pretty big at all. However, why showing us the trailer yesterday? So maybe there is another update for a little bit after! For the anniversary! Because right, they never said it was that the anniversary update and I can't believe there is nothing more than that.

I'm sure Brewster will finally shows his beak and the Nook shop will be updated as well, with, I hope, more items! (if not, it's just useless to make it bigger) Maybe the return of old series of items? Like the royal, card, rococo...

(I would really love the items from ACPC but I think we need to wait for one more year at least)

Maybe an event in game too? Something small but where you'll meet again old characters? Like a party with all our old friends! So maybe they could appear later.

And I'm pretty sure the shoes-boy and Leif will disapear soon enough from the plaza to join the shops on our island as we have seen in NL to welcome more NPC!

Best case scenario: Brewster, the Roost, gyroids, a new Nook’s Cranny upgrade with a load more furniture, Blanca and April Fool’s, some new Bunny Day items, anniversary cake in the mail from Nintendo

I have low expectations but I'll take a jab at it.

1. There MIGHT be anniversary items. I'll just go with a hat...because thats honestly what I expect.

2. Since Bunny Day is close, the update might add new Bunny Day items in order to keep people playing it. They will not fix the madness that goes with it.

3. Bold prediction: They add Blanca for a one-time event on April 1.
They did it with Rover for May 1, so they might do it with Blanca.

The low expectation version

+ Bunny Day is currently exclusive to 2020, so they need to update the game to make it a 2021 event.


The medium expectation version:

+ April Fools day will get a small mention from Isabelle, and we get an item in the seasonal section at Nook Stop commemorating the day. (possibly Whoopee Cushion Chair)


The hype train version:

*everything from the medium expectation version plus

+ Bunny Day has more DIYs, Furniture, and clothing to collect.

+ April Fools Day gets an actual in game event with special dialogue from villagers and possible return of Blanca.

+ Nook's Cranny gets a store upgrade.

If there will be an anniversary update, I think what they’ll at least give us is a Nook’s Cranny upgrade and the return of Brewster and Gyroids. Probably the return of some previous furniture sets as well.

April Fools Day event with Blanca
2021 Bunny Day but it's basically going to be the same as 2020 with one or two new items
More character customization
New Reactions, maybe something like a jump in place like High School Musical style
Massive furniture update with items that can be hung from the ceiling
New DIYs added to the Cherry Blossom Set like a rug and some new for one of the Fall sets for the Southern Hemisphere
New seasonal items for Spring/Fall to order from nook shopping

New hybrid flower colors for existing flowers
Nook’s Granny/Leif garden shop upgrade
Terraforming upgrade that lets you terraform your beach, outlets, peninsula, and beach rocks
Island size upgrade (those rope fences around the island get moved further away)
Villager limit increase (10 > 15)

In reality it’s probably just just going to be items with fancy 1s (and the sanrio villagers + items)

Hmm. I think for the anniversary we'll get a Nook Cranny update on 2 floors. Not yet Gracie because it's still too small though.
We'd also be able to customize and move the Resident Services.
And we'll get new Dodo / New Horizons themed items.

Sanrio update + new furnitures, (re)introduction of mini games maybe? For example, either mini games on the in game switches, or something like the tortimer island in ACNL

I think it’s unlikely we get a Nooks expansion unless it involves Gracie or furniture sets, because the game doesn’t have much more furniture. In fact, Nookingtons (in AC GCN) sells the same amount as our current Nooks.

A Nook store upgrade.
A Shamrock day event- possibly get recipes.
Brewster
Some new veggies to plant and some food recipes.
More pattern spaces.
