We honestly don’t know what’s happening with Brewster, tbh. I’m more worried about villager visits, given that was also nearly working but they completely removed that at the end of January.

However, I’m also not one to go “WAAAH THE GAME IS DOOMED, NINTENDO DOESN’T CARE ABOUT ANIMAL CROSSING, ONE OF ITS TOP FRANCHISES, AND IT DEFINITELY DOESN’T CARE ABOUT NEW HORIZONS, THE SECOND BEST SELLING GAME ON THE SWITCH”... so I honestly think he’s going to come back at some point... as are all the cut NPCs. Why bother to put in character posters if they’re never going to come back?

No. We don't know what's happening with Brewster. He's been hinted through the datamining and villager dialogue as well. So in fact, it's most likely that he'll be added at some point in the game.

I never caught that Brewster dialogue, I wish I had though. It was probably in the first months of NH back when I was so swamped with work during peak Covid. I also don't see the dialogue Peppy's used to say to me about playing hide and seek by themselves. I wonder if that was slipped dialogue that they took out until hide and seek became available.

Yeah, it fits into what I've thought prior that the game was released before it was ready. At the time the current situation was hitting most of us like a truck and from a monetary standpoint it was the ideal time to release the game. In the early going, the developers were still probably trying to sort out glitches, bugs, what have you which is how we ended up with the Brewster dialogue. He's assuredly coming to the game, we'll just have to wait a bit longer.

All I know is some people posted screenshots of villager dialogue regarding Brewster. There was also some form of datamine of some extra room in the museum. This was after the art update. So most likely our favorite pidgeon was meant to have his own café floor somewhere in a new area in the museum.

I'm excited for the fact that Brewster may not be in our island. That makes it all the more exciting to imagine I have to travel somewhere for coffee and tropical juice haha.

My prediction is added furniture and maybe Gracie being added as a vistor. The Gorgeous, Princess, Sweets and Gracie set to be specific, maybe even a new one if they are feeling spicy.

I predict that the shop will finally get an upgrade, with Gracey Grace taking up the top floor. The items will be obscenely expensive.

I predict that they will add the Sanrio stuff obviously, and Blanca for April Fools day, and then update Bunny Day so it appears in 2021. However, with Bunny Day the event will stay the same but it will be all new items. The previous year’s items can be obtained through Nook Miles in the Nook Stop during the period of Bunny Day.

Bunny Day, Sanrio, and some special time limited orderables for the lesser holidays. Like April Fools, maybe March Madness (basketball) because they did do football, some others I could be forgetting.

And April Fools will be like Valentines Day for NH. Blanca won't be around. You just talk to one of the villagers and they will say some one-liner that seems off the wall and then the go 'April Fools!!!" with the energy emotion.

Like lazy will say 'My food tried to eat me.'....'April Fools!!!'

And the orderables for April Fools will be a whoopie cushion and some other stuff.

I'm horrible at predicting things. But I'm gonna try just for the fun of it its going to be more of a fantasy than a prediction but whatever haha

I think they might be able to come up with something a little bigger. I'm aiming at improving the multiplayer function. Maybe the mini games on a multiplayer island like in NL. Maybe they think of fun things to do on eachothers islands, like hide and seek or playing sports or boardgames.
Maybe you can throw partys or they improve the way you can interact via your nookphone.

My brother got this game a month ago so now im ESPECIALLY more hyped for thess things i want more reasons to play together with my brother since i can't see him because of... you know

Trust me, we all are hoping for a sizeable update. Minigames like back in the CT days would be so welcoming and be a reason for everyone to visit again. I kind of just predicted what I think we'd get considering how the updates have been so far. The biggest one we've gotten to date was the diving one.

Congrats @Kattea for your prediction of more design slots! I think this is the closest to what we actually got in the update (but still kudos to those who mentioned the cake and the April fool's cushion)
