Predictions for Pocket Camp transfers

I've made a thread like this before but it's in the General area and now that I've started playing PC again I'm thinking on what exactly is LIKELY to happen when it comes to the compatibility with Switch.

What I genuinely think is that we might be able to transfer our character from PC, WW-CF style, and take along with them their catalogue, minus things in the Special category and bugs and fish and stuff like that. I hope and don't really think that the functionality will go beyond that. It would be nice to completely ditch PC after Switch comes out but still retain some progress from it. I think there may be some exclusive items from PC that can only be obtained this way just to entice this.

I would PREFER for this not to be the case however. I'm not attached to my PC character at all and don't have any desire to transfer her to the Switch game. However I would do it if it were an option as it would be a waste otherwise.

Yeah, I can also see that become a thing very well. And while I'm not a huge fan of Pocket Camp (mostly because I haven't played it myself to be honest, I would like to but my playstore keeps giving me an error code whenever I try to install the game...) I think that'd be a clever way for Nintendo to try to bring the casual Pocket Camp players into the new main game. I know a bunch of people who play Pocket Camp who have never played an actual Animal Crossing before, or who have only played Wild World as kids and missed out on New Leaf because they had forgotten about the series.
