price my art???

Yes, yours is soft shading I believe. I was thinking of something else but overall it's good tbh.
Just practice a bit more with her features, hair flow, and anatomy.
I can recommend some YouTube videos I look at for that.
I'm also working on hair so I can't really put much input into that than what others told me before(for I'm just mastering Anatomy right now).

Hello~
I completely agree with what Beardo says and I'll see if I can offer some tips that others havent yet.

The first thing that popped out to me was that the girl in the full color drawing doesn't have any whites in her eyes (sclera)?
But for some artists that's an artistic choice so it's fine. Another thing that stood out to me was the lineart, not so much the actual quality of it since people have already touched upon that, but rather the coloring of it. It seems that you colored the lineart for her collarbones and her pants but nowhere else? It's a minor detail but consistency can bring a piece together so much better. Lastly would be the shading. You've used what seems to me to be at least 3 colors in her hair but the other areas only have 1 layer of shading. More layers of shading and/or highlighting can bring more dimension to the drawing. When choosing colors for shading, simply using a darker color of the base color isn't always a good idea either. For example, a lot of artists will never use gray as a shading color for white. It just looks bland. Rather they'll use a less saturated red/blue etc. Speaking of shading, I think the bottom half of the tank top could use some :)

I hope this helps a little, can't wait to see more from you!

EDIT: ah forgot about pricing. I'm no good at pricing things but I have seen artwork of what I believe to be similar quality selling for 300-500 bells here on tbt. Soo.... Take from that what you will c:

Thank you so much
I usually had white in their eyes, actually, but I couldn't fit in this time without it looking weird.
And, with the lineart, I usually see people do that.
Like, I add color to the lineart that shouldn't be so blunt, so it can't be black.

I used about seven colors in her hair
4 colors in skin
1 shading color for tanktop
2 shading colors in pants
because, I think it's much easier to give hair detail than other pieces because I really dislike not using gray for white color.
I think it looks kinda 'funky' with other colors
I've seen other artist make it look nice but I like my shading grey/black ;;
And, okay, thanks! I didn't know what shading to add, honestly. Do I just add random shading in places, lmao?

I would agree with around 200-300 TBT, for actual cash there's a big chance no one would buy it however don't be discouraged!

I say out of the three, number 2 is the best. You should read up on lots of tutorials and test the limits of what you can do! ;; v ;;
You do have a lot of potential as long as you're willing to put in the effort.

For me, I give a maximum base price and allow people to decide whether they want to give more or keep it to the base price. You might want to consider this idea.

Good luck! * ^ *

i tried something new but it failed, horribly
I honestly need no help with this one because, unlike the other one, I know this one is bad

First things I notice are: Their irises are too close to the center so they look cross eyed and (even looking back at your art in the first post) all your drawings tend to be slanted?

I see in your sketch you did draw out some guidelines- remember to follow them! The chin is to the side of the line, the nose isn't centered on it either, and the ears and eyes are at different heights/distances from the lines.
You should also try sketching out guidelines for the body as well, so her body won't be distorted either!

BUUUT I do think the sketch is your best piece so far! You're improving :)
(also I think your shading is actually really good, there's definitely potential!)

For eye whites, don't draw them parallel to each other, they should be
in the same position on the eye. The heads should be a little longer length wise.
Lips are too far down on the chin and ears should be the length from eyebrow to
nose. xD

Hope this helps!
