I recently finished a piece in paint tool sai! This is my first piece in sai. I should get a tablet sometime, so it could improve a little, but heres the piece!

To make the image transparent
- make a new layer (all the way at the bottom) - use bucket tool to fill it with a dark color
- make sure that the "eye" icon next to the layer is off (not visible)
- same file as a png and choose the 32 (or 34) smt. Instead of the 20 something (u should see what I mean lol)
- and it should be transparent
Sorry I fail at explaining

Thanks! It worked! You aren't that bad, I'm probably worse ;)

it's super cute. i'd price it around 100-150?

This is done with a mouse right? If so, you should consider using vector layers for your lineart until you get a tablet. It'll make your art look significantly more smooth. They're called "linework layers" on SAI.

I do, I edit them to make them flow a bit better :)

@Nightmares: I might try 50, for a full colored, these can take a while esp while trying to work on a new program

i'd pay about 100 tbt. general advice;
- avoid using pure white for lighting. it works, but it just doesn't look very appealing. use a lighter shade of the base color instead, or go with a different color and play around with the color wheel
- her pupils could use some more detail and have a more defined or less shaky curve. there are plenty of tutorials on dA to help you out there
- the lighting for her hair could use work too. it doesn't blend in with the hair very well - use the oil water tool to blend it out a bit more, but don't over blend. you'll know when you've done enough blending. keep doing that and repeat with more layers of various colors and logical locations for the shines until it starts coming together
- her neck and shoulders look odd. even though this is an 'anime' style (not sure what else to call it), anatomy still plays a role in this
