PSA: Sturgeon Island Exists Just Like Scorpion Island!

In my quest to catch the elusive sturgeon fish, I found this awesome video on YouTube detailing how to force a sturgeon to spawn on an island tour.

I can verify that this works. I’m on this island right now and I’ve caught five so far! Go get em guys.

It's crazy how easy it is to manipulate the random islands to get a bunch of rare spawns. I'm not complaining, but I just have to wonder if this and the forced tarantula/scorpion islands will get patched at some point.

Yeah, I’m wondering if you couldn’t also use this island or a similar one with a cliff to force a stringfish too?

I think this is how I wound up catching my stringfish, though I just scared away all the smaller looking fish on the cliffs of my own island. I'm sure it'd be even easier to do on one of the random islands that have cliffs!

yeah this is the island i use to catch sturgeons.. although it does take me a bit. it's also where i caught my first stringfish!

I tried this for a good 30-45 minutes and caught a whopping 3 sturgeon. All of these tricks are a major YMMV situation.
