hi! i’ve been trying to work with my museum and mainly my deep sea creatures! i have a couple questions

1. how long did it take you to catch the chambered nautilus? i feel like i’ve been hunting for hours, i know it’s medium sized but i’ve seen several claims about the speed

2. umbrella octopus, any tips for catching one? also feels like i’ve been searching forever lol

3. and just for future, what shadow size is the moray eel exactly? i’ve heard some say it’s narrow and other say it’s about the size of the sea bass. if anyone can clarify thanks!

update: found the nautilus! still looking for answers on the other 2

isn't the moray eel a fish? just look for any slithering shadow
yes! i did research and it does have the thin shadow. previous games it had the shadow of about a sea bass so i was confused ^^

i've never had any trouble catching the umbrella octopus normally, but i know the main tip for fast sea creatures is driving them to the edge of the map (or, even better, a corner) from a distance. then, when the bubbles are right next to the border, go underwater and just make a beeline for it. watch which direction it goes in when it bounces back, and try to turn in time to hit the shadow and catch it.
