Do you think they will finally let us hold over 100,000 Bells in your wallet, or is it going to be stuck with 99,999 Bells at the maximum?

A long time ago, 99,999 Bells was a reasonable maximum as there was very few spending opportunities that required spending 100,000 Bells or more. But with all these spending opportunities and online trading of Bells, this is no longer the case. Especially when there is inflation. If this restriction stays, trading millions of Bells to other members will remain tedious like it always did. But if they expand it, we can finally have more on hand.

Would be nice if you could hold more then 100k bells this time, but if it stays the same as it was in NL,
then I can deal with it. After all, I only have more then 100k bells with me if I either pay off my house
or buying stuff from Gracie. Otherwise, I always have around 70k-90k bells in my wallet, because that's
enough for me.

Would be even better if they bring the shopping card back! And while they're at it, make it possible to transfer bells to another player. Or make like a trading interface where two players can join into a trade and just select whatever they want to give. Though I doubt those last two things are actually going to be in the game. ^^'

Another idea would be having something like a trading outpost, where you can buy things from other players and put your own things for sale. But I guess that might not really be in the spirit of the game.

Sorry for going a bit off-topic!

Yeah, trading bells was very tedious and hard to do when you can only carry so much at once. If they did expand it, I would be very happy, but if they didn't, that's fine too.

i think it will stay the same but maybe they will change it. i hope for a return of the credit card from city folk

I hope they don't change it. I like the satisfactory of "99,999". However if they want to expand it to 999,999 that would be ok too.

I actually kinda hope they keep the 99k limit and instead implement a banking feature with the NookPhone.

I like the idea of holding more. Hopefully this game is going to be a lot more in depth in many ways...so why not.

oooh i really like the banking feature idea! a lot of retailers do allow you to pay by phone, so having quick access to all your savings right there would make things a lot easier.

not to mention it makes total sense. since nook is the one supplying the phone i don't see why we shouldn't even be able to pay our loans from a "banking app" (even if the logistics rely on cartoon logic).
