I'm not to far into the game and I was wondering, that say if you didn't like how an animals house towns out down the road is there a option to go back and re-design it? Since I know you can redo previous facility's you have made.

Yes you can, when you start a new day, go to diary and pick which villager you want to redesign and talk to them.
