Question about learning DIYs through fishing

There are a few DIYs that we learn through catching fish. I noticed I learned only one of them instead of all of them when I caught a salmon (which has like 4 you can learn). I was wondering, does it reset the next day? Can I go catch another salmon tomorrow and earn another DIY?

it’s odd that you didn’t obtain them all at once. i haven’t caught a salmon since prior to 2.0, so i don’t know if that’s normal or not, but with the other fishes that have more than 1 recipe (ex. squid), i unlocked all the recipes at once after just catching one. however, if it’s different with the salmon, i’d assume you wouldn’t have to wait until the following day to catch another and unlock another recipe. i’m assuming you can catch 4 salmon and unlock all 4 recipes in one day; it wouldn’t make sense to put a limit on it.

The salmon DIYs are a bit weird. You learn one DIY when you catch one salmon, but you learn the remaining three DIYs after you've caught three more salmon. Your progress shouldn't reset the next day, so (assuming you're at 1) you'd just need to catch 3 more salmon.
