I've been thinking about getting replays (and footage from games in general) onto my PC, and I don't know how. I've heard about things like TV Tuner Cards and "Gamebridges", and I'm not positive on how they work, and how much a decent one would cost. Could someone please explain it to me?

Step 1:
Get SD card (around 30.00 USD) to store replays.

Step 2:
Get SD card reader for computer.

Step 3:

:)

All of this can be found at your local Circuit City, Best Buy, etc.

they're BIN files though =/

unless someone made a decrypter, there's no way to view them.

Some computers (Like mine) have slots for the SD card, where you just plug them in and access the data on the card through the "My computer" thing. Try that before buying anything.

Also, to save the videos to the SD card, (In case you were wondering) after a match press "Start" or "+", and then you should see a symbol the the "Z" button. (Not sure what it is for a Wiimote) Press "Z" and then choose where you want to save the video to. But the battle has to be less than three minutes long.

I already have an SD card, I know how to work all that out, the thing is, if you do it that way, you just get a BIN file, which you can't do anything with unless you decrpyt it. Right now, the only way to get playable video files on your computer from Brawl is to use some kind of screen recorder.

Fabio did not know that.

But, people of Smashboards do it, so there must be a decrypter.

There can't be, they aren't videos. Its like Halo 3, Its rendered with the game.

They must; they have a stage database where you can download stages.
Well yeah, you could upload the stages/replays... but you can't watch the replays on the computer. Other people could put them on an SD card though.

I have a gamebridge which works wonders. Me and Shadow_Link used it to record our video review which will be up tonight, so you can check and see how well it works for yourself

how do gamebridges work? Do they connect to your TV or your computer, how much does it usually cost, etc.?
