Question about shop inventory

I am wanting to trade one of my cakes, but I don't want to trade the wrong one and the shop doesnt tell you which dates the cakes have.
If you have multiples of an item in your inventory, what's the order that it shows up?
Is it the same as how it shows up under your avatar?

I'm not sure what order it is, but you could hide the rest of the cakes except one, and see if the unhidden cake is the one you want to trade from your profile. If it is, then you can gift that unhidden cake. If it's not, repeat that method for the other cakes. It's a lot of work but that's what I did.

Order of collectables relate to the date when you obtained said collectable.
