question about the 3 plots?

so i resetted my island a few days ago, finally got the 3 plot quest from nook and today i put down the first plot, went to a bunch of mystery islands to find villagers for it. i found audie on an island and invited her to my island. then i go back to my island, save the game, and i submit all the furniture for the plot. i talk to nook, go back to the plot...and it says alice is moving in. i didnt invite alice.,did i do something wrong?

tl;dr i invited audie why is alice moving in
sorry if this is a dumb question lol. ive had this happen on my first island before but idk what causes it...help??

Have you visited someone else's island since you restarted? If yes, then you got their voided villager.

Alice is a normal villager, so the plot you made must’ve been the normal plot, and maybe enough time passed that the game registered your normal villager at random. Audie will probably appear once you set down the plot that is meant for the peppy villager (you get a normal plot, peppy plot and a lazy plot).

If I remember correctly the order is lazy, normal, peppy and your first campsite visitor will be a smug.

I got Sherb, Molly and Victoria in that order. I did not travel to islands, they show up.

Sherb and Molly as autofilled initial villagers your RNG luck is awesome.

For the OPs question it probably auto filled for your normal lot. You’ll still get Audie once you lay down your peppy lot and complete the furniture required.

Sherb is still part of my island, and sadly Molly was lost to the void when the moving glitch was a thing back in the day.
