Question about Villager personalities in Town

I was wondering if in New horizons if the game forces you to have all the personality types in your island like how the game kind of forced you too in new leaf due to the public work projects?

As far as I know, no, there's no benefit to having all the different personality types.

I'm not sure if this effects the types of DIYs they give you if they catch them building something in their homes, though.

Yeah that’s what I thought. It would be interesting to see if the personalities did play apart in what diys you get from them but I haven’t seen any evidence supporting this
