Question regarding auctions.

On some auctions I've seen some instances where people "retract" their bids.
I'm just curious if that's allowed w/ the bell tree rules and everything.

Also, if someone puts "Retracting bids is not allowed" on their auction, does that mean nobody can retract their bids then?

ive never seen where its an issue unless you're HB, win the auction and say "oh no, i retract my bid." when you're declared the winner. then i think its a problem. but retracting regularly, no i dont think so.

and the second question is pretty self explanatory, if someone says "no retracting" then nobody can retract their bids.
i don't think much action will/can be taken if they retract though.
just my two sense, i could be wrong for both.

Yeah.. there's really not much you can do..

If it's stated by the OP before you posted that retracting is not allowed, than I believe it is against the rules.

If you retract and they didn't say you couldn't, than I believe it is fine.

alot of people do that. it's annoying but most people get over it, i dunno.
