I really want a tablet, and I honestly don't know where to start ;;

Wacom Intuos Pen and Touch Small, I never draw though, and I can't draw lmao

Heads up to anyone in Australia, ALDI is selling Wacom One's for $40! I was gonna get one but I didn't see any use if I already had one lol

wacom intuos 4 medium ♥
but bamboo (the current 'intuos' line) is a good tablet for starters + it's cheaper than intuos (currently 'intuos pro') c:

wacom bamboo [it's like the same size as the smallest intuos on sale atm] <3

I have a Wacom Art Tablet. Seriously, I don't know what it is with tablets and kicking the bucket, but sometimes they'll just drop without even the slightest of hints.

Granted, all tablets are pretty awful, but Wacom beats them all, even though they have some problems themselves, it's WAY better than anything else. I would suggest getting something from Wacom, but it depends on how you draw I think. I have an Art one, and that's just for general arting stuff I think. There's a Manga Tablet, etc etc, I suggest going onto their website and finding which one you think would suit you the best c:

Another question, do you guys recommend a tablet with a screen? ;; I think I would prefer that but I've never had a tablet so I can't say.

From my opinion, I think the screen tablets are a bit more advanced? I don't recommend it to beginners since they're more expensive and seem more advanced. But that's just me. ;v;

Thank you for your opinion! It makes sense c: Seeing all the art on here inspired me and I want to try my own thing ^^

Good luck and I hope you find a tablet that fits you! They're hard to get used to at first, but you'll eventually get the hang of it. Start out small, and when you feel more used to tablets, you can keep upgrading! 6v6

Its more advanced. But if you feel like you prefer looking at what you're drawing is better for you, you could get it. Though, i find that a Wacom Intuos Pen and Touch Small or Medium is great for starters.

I've had my Wacom Bamboo Fun small since 2011 and I've never had any problems with it. I use it almost every day and i've never even had to change the nib! I don't think they make them anymore but a the small intuos would probably be the same.

I feel like the ones with screens are cool but not rlly necessary. But's a preference thing~

I have a tablet that I don't use unfortunately due to lack of time and harder accessibility
If it's digital art I always use my 3ds xD
I really need to learn how to use my tablet though
Good luck on finding one! c:

I'd say no xD; clintiqs are a lot more expensive, and personally I find the regular ones more comfortable to use :")
besides, it's alright to get an upgrade later on after you feel like you've got used to all the mechanisms to go digital!! ;D

I also use Wacom Bamboo! I've had it since I was like 12, and up-to-date I've had no problems with it; I'd recommend it for a beginner since it took me only a short time to get the hang of it c:
And personally I don't prefer the ones with a screen? If you're more of a traditional artist I guess (because you're probably imagining a pencil-and-paper scenario) and if you have the money, but you'll be comfortable with simple tablets just the same!

Good luck with finding the tablet of your dreams! <3

i'm currently doing some research on all the wacom options too, and it's a total headache, so i understand where you're coming from. there's just so many to choose from!! i'm sort of leaning towards the intuos pro (small) even though it's a bit pricier. the newer wacom intuos line doesn't seem to have as many good reviews? though i'm also thinking about getting the $99 intuos comic or intuos art.

ideally, i wanted the older inutos touch small, but they're discontinued now and i don't really trust sellers on amazon when it comes to pricier electronics.

anyway, good luck on deciding! i'll probably end up asking for the intuos pro as a joint bday/christmas present haha.

to answer the question, i use a bamboo tablet - an old model. i do recommend using more updated wacom tablets, but if you want to lean towards the cheaper side, bamboo is fine too. its not bad either, it fuctions perfectly for more than a couple of years, its small so its easy to travel with & takes less room, etc

If you find one under 150 then tell me about it! I don't want to spend more than that for my first tablet honestly ;;
