I dont know if this is the right spot. But do you guys ever put your tbt in the bank?

I don't personally use the ABD a whole lot because I never have much TBT to begin with lol. It's even less appealing since the interest feature has been disabled for the ABD.

I always have my TBT in the bank, unless I'm about to send it to someone to buy something. I don't like having it all out at once, I guess it gives me some sense of security to put it away.

I've only used the bank once. I used it to hold some tbt for another order, then I sent most of my tbt for another order. I use it as a 'make sure that person will get the tbt I promised them for an order' sorta thing.

I've used it before so I didn't have the urge to spend it. I'd have to really think about it before withdrawing bells. Not really an issue for me now because I have so little but when I had alot, sure. I really don't ever remember interest being active but I understand why the staff disabled it. IF by chance they did enable interest, I'd totally use it. =) I'm not the most active so any way of more earning bells, YES

Oh so the bank doesnt collect interest

No it doesnt collect interest.
I always use the ABD. If i have more that 50 bells earned, i would dump it in the bank leaving like 10-20 bells left in my inventory. I will take them out when i need it

I have never used it, but I've done so for the first time now! Not sure it actually serves any purpose without the interest though, so I guess it's personal preference :)

Yeah, the only real purpose is to hide your wealth if you don't want it to be publicly visible to everyone.

Why? So people won’t beg for your TBT? (Just like how people beg for bells on Club Tortimer???)

No really. Why do we hide our TBT if that’s the reason. I don’t because why bother when you are the bank.

i use ABD so I don't accidentally use my money if I am paying for a layaway. It also allows me to separate my spending money with money owed to debt..

i keep some in there both so people don't ask for handouts and so i don't spend it all on a whim. i'd say i generally don't keep more than 1000 tbt out on display, though honestly it might be more like 500 lmao

some people may be uncomfortable showing they have a lot of tbt cause it might lead to comments from others
or maybe you wanna buy something from someone and try to haggle but if they see you have a lot they might not want to go down with the price? idk thats what i always thought
but i personally dont use it so who knows

Nope. Never used it before, but if they do bring back the interest thing, I might use it for that. :)

Honestly no. I'm pretty broke on here anyways

I use it when I'm trying to save up for art or a collectible. I put a little TBT in there every couple of days and eventually I save up enough. Plus it helps me keep from impulse buying when I'm trying to save. I've also used it to hold TBT I've known I was going to need to pay for art or for large wish list orders.
