I'm new here and I have a question. If someone replies to a thread you post or have posted on, does the site notify you at all? Do you have to check all the time instead?

I don't think the site notifies you, no. Usually just browsing "new posts" will give you a heads up, but not all the time. It's good to periodically check your topic for replies, or check the thread you were watching hope that helps.

Just click Settings at the top of the page. Subscribed threads will be there.

Yeah, you can subscribe to a thread and it will notify you.

You can either subscribe through your profile window on the website, or you can have it email you when there's a reply to a thread you post on/make.

Yeah, you can subscribe to a thread and it will notify you.

It doesn't notify me when a thread I have subscribed to gets a new post.

There are different ways to subscribe. It probably shows in your profile area or whatever.
