Questions about animated avatar picture

I just bought the animated avatar picture ability and I'm wondering if anyone else has purchased and used it as well as I cant seem to get the gif to play out on my profile. It's stuck on the first image that shows up in the gif!

I don't think it's working quite yet. I got the animated avatar too but it hasn't worked since they updated the site.

Hmm that's a bit concerning since it is one of the more expensive items in the shop...

Hopefully it's a known issue and is being worked out

you have to have the animated avatar collectible activated in order for it to work. you have to have it visible like any other collectible until you have your avatar the way you want it and then you can hide the collectible again.

Woah my brain is having an issue with decoding that lol

So I need to go to
1. my inventory and make sure the thing is active
2. choose my gif as my profile picture
3. go back to the inventory and uncheck the active circle
4. badabing badaboom?

For me the avatar moves in the uploading window, but does not when i post comments. I saw others with ones moving just fine so i must be doing something wrong lol. I hope you get yours to work!

Yeah I'm trying that but it doesn't seem to be working... I'll keep at it though maybe I'm doing something wrong still

I tried using yours as mine to test it out, and it still wont move. Nice avi, btw.

When you say it doesn't work, does it allow you to upload the animated GIF at all? If the item itself isn't working, it should say you don't have permission while uploading. Or is it uploading and then just showing as one frame?

It is uploading but it is only showing as one frame

Oh my god it worked! Try uploading the gif while you are in the web page that shows your inventory. I hope it works for you too!
