To be clear, I had no bad online experience, and nobody has blacklisted me. But here are some questions about blacklisting?

1. Why is blacklisting bad? I know it's bad, but some people who ruin others' experiences deserve it. But it's a good thing we have the Wi-Fi rating system, so we don't need to blacklist. But I still want to know what makes blacklisting bad.

2. If someone on TBT is giving me a bad experience and I talk about him/her on other sites like GameFAQs or ACC, will that get me in trouble on TBT like it does on GameFAQs. Activity on other sites should not matter on TBT (so far, I got no infraction on TBT for all the bad things I did on LBPC).

3. If I've been blacklisted by someone on this site, what do I do and who should I tell?

Sorry if I kept asking about rules. I'm just interested into hearing more about rules (i.e. Don't ask a moderator about why others got banned, don't sell duped items etc).

1. See Crystal's post for why it's bad. Note that if someone has their own blacklist, then that is acceptable.

2. Anything you say on TBT is subject to the rules of TBT. TBT is not responsible for what you say on other sites.

3. IIRC, people are allowed to have their personal blacklist, they just can't make a thread about it.

The first question is not just for this site, but it's for everywhere. But yeah, selling duped items you got from other sites by request is bad.

Thanks for answering me anyway. I'll wait until others answer.

Furthermore, Information Desk is best ;)

I don't understand by what you mean by your first question. Do you mind elaborating a bit more?

First question is simply asking why is it wrong to blacklist someone. Is it considered harassment? Is it giving the troll more power? Does it hurt people emotionally?

Well, I'm thinking it's done for a good reason to show people who is deemed "untrustworthy" and to avoid scams. The person brought themselves to be on the list, not anyone else.

I think that the blacklisting thing is what the wifi ratings are for. If people are careful and want to know what others think about who they are trading with, they can use the ratings to check it from.

Sorry if this doent make any sense
