Bells

Being fairly new to this forum, there are a few things that I'm not getting.

1. What does TBT mean?
2. How do we get Bells and Eggs?
3. What are Bells and Eggs used for?
4. There is some random stuff where we are supposed to share our friend codes to visit other villages, I thought the Train was only supposed to be used to exchanged codes.

About Animal Crossing itself
1. How do we use amiibo cards?
2. How do I get different RV's in the campground site, like W.Link?
3. Can I kick villagers out?
4. Is there a store that comes after Shampoodles?
5. Is there other islands you can travel to besides the first one?

tbt means "the bell tree"
we get bells from posting and selling stuff, eggs are special currency from Easter (i think)
bells are used for buying stuff, eggs are for getting egg collectibles (i think)
not sure
you need an amiibo scanner or have a devise with one built in then you rub wisps lamp
amiibo cards
yes with amiibo
nope
yes you can go to tortimers island with a special invitation

my answers arnt very explaining so i hope someone who knows more than me comes along!

Being fairly new to this forum, there are a few things that I'm not getting.

1. What does TBT mean?
...

To add on to Wildtown's answer, TBT also means TBT Bells which is the "Bells" forum currency! :)

yeah, tbt can refer to the forum as well as the forum's currency. just depends on the context involved. (also btb=forum currency tbt)

the egg currency is only obtained by completing tasks and finding an egg during the easter egg hunt, and are exchangeable for easter egg collectibles in the special annual easter shop. tasks range from something as simple to finding a post/thread containing the egg based on a clue, to something more complex like solving cryptics. the first person to find and obtain all the eggs can have a shot at getting the elusive golden easter egg collectible too, so long as they haven't previously turned over their eggs for any other collectibles

also, egg currency expires after the event (typically the leftover are made tradable for a small sum of tbt) and can't be traded between members. this generally also goes for any other especial event currency (ex: tickets for tbt fair)

bells can be used for just about anything other than items with an irl value. you can buy collectibles, commission art, get items for your animal crossing games, etc. stuff like selling games you bought for tbt are a no-go though, since they fall under the "with set irl value" criteria

no idea what #4 is saying

for animal corsing questions

amiibo reader is on the bottom screen of new 3ds models, older ones you'll need an amiibo scanner peripheral

have the corresponding amiibo (link, in the case of w. link)

yes, you can selectively boot out villagers if you try to move in someone with the amiibo feature

in the shampoodle building specifically? no. though you may still have spots left in your main street to be filled. if a building area looks run down or whatever, that likely means that part has yet to be fixed up (there isn't any set order to how stuff unlocks, so)

buy the paper at the island to go to a special randomly generated online vip island or something (don't buy the paper, trust me. it's by far the worst decision I ever made in this game)

also fun fact: every time I typed "amiibo" in this post, I first put down "e-reader"

If you mean #4 as in putting your friend code elsewhere, you can do that in sidebar, either directly from your "About Me" page, click the pencil icon and enter it, or do it from Settings.

Or put it in your sig if you prefer that.

1. What does TBT mean?
The Bell Tree Forums!

2. How do we get Bells and Eggs?[/B]
You get bells my posting in the forums, eggs I'm not sure

3. What are Bells and Eggs used for?
You can use bells to buy collectibles, or buy items / services from other users!

4. There is some random stuff where we are supposed to share our friend codes to visit other villages, I thought the Train was only supposed to be used to exchanged codes.
You need to exchange friends codes to visit each others town, you can do this where your friends list is on your 3ds. The train station is used to visit these towns!

1. How do we use amiibo cards?
If you have a New 3DS then you'll just be able to tap it with your 3ds, if you have an older version you need to buy an adapter. Once you've updated your copy of ACNL to Welcome Amiibo then you will be given a genie lamp that hosts Wisp inside. When you place the lamp in your home and click on it Wisp will come out and that's where you tap the Amiibo card!

2. How do I get different RV's in the campground site, like W.Link?
You have to have the special Amiibo

3. Can I kick villagers out?
You can kick villagers you don't like out by scanning in an Amiibo, if your town is full then Wisp will ask you which villager you'd like to take their place

4. Is there a store that comes after Shampoodles?
Nothing!

5. Is there other islands you can travel to besides the first one?
Sadly there's only the one island, but you can visit others islands when you visit their towns!
