Let n be a number whose universe of discourse is the set of positive integers, Z+ (that is, all numbers greater than 1). The last number posted was 10, so let n = 10. Since a moderator hasn't shown up yet, I am able to increment n by 1. So:
n = 10
=> { add 1 to both sides }
n + 1 = 11
Therefore, we can assume the next number in our sequence is 11. QED.
