'Quick' digital drawing~

[Nightmares]

So...I'm crap at digital art...especially on my iPad using my finger xD

I was wondering if it's even the tiniest bit ok and how I could improve...
If you don't mind of course haha >.<
i know I got the shading all wrong ;-;

I like it. I think it's good imo.

You have a good start!!! If you can do that with your finger, I'm sure you can improve drastically.

Some things I noticed:

The bottom lines of nose looks crooked in comparison to the rest of the face.

Maybe round the chin a slightly.

The shoulders look really stiff, maybe try relaxing the tip where the arm and shoulder meets! Also the arm line goes straight down, maybe try a little wave so it looks more natural.

The hair looks like it is tight on the head, like a swimcap. If you let the hair come off of the head a little bit and shade slightly on the forehead, it will look even better.

i'd suggest looking into shading of the human face. a quick google search for 'face shadow reference' should yield some helpful resources.

all in all, just keep observing, pick up artistic inspiration where you find it and practice! you're off to a good start!
