Quick question about inviting villagers to replace moving out villagers

I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but I tried searching and couldn't find anything that answers this specific question.

I have an island with 10 villagers already living on it. One have just pinged me that they're thinking of moving out, and I encouraged it. Does this guarantee that they'll be in boxes tomorrow?
When will be the earliest time where random villagers will start appearing on mystery islands again?

when a villager wants to move out they do strt packing the next day and villgers appear on islands when there is an empty plot on your island

One more question! If I want to move in a villager who's in boxes from a friend's island, will I also have to wait until the plot has been cleared?

i'm not entirely sure but i think you would need to wait for an empty space
