Quick question about tarantulas

Is the trick of making any island the tarantula island still a thing?? or it got removed with the new update?? if anyone knows please let me know!

i did it last night and it worked just fine! i was able to get 23 tarantulas in like 15 minutes (give or take) before all my nets broke!

I also did it sometime after the update, worked like a treat!

As far as I know, I doubt theres any "patching" the tarantula island trick. Its simply taking advantage of how tarantula spawning works, and in order to prevent that they'd have to change how tarantula spawning works entirely. I dont even know if there would be anything they could do for it :O
