Giveaway Quick question about villagers moving

Okay so I had a villager tell me they were moving on a specific date and I made sure to remember it. Then when I went to that day, they didn't move.
I though maybe I was a day off and didn't worry about it so I waited and I guess what I am trying to ask is
Can a villager change their mind about moving without telling you?
I didn't even talk to the villager since they announced moving.
If someone could help me out I would be very happy ;__;

Did you check he was actually moving? when you do the okbye thingy, they might change their minds.

ive never had this happen to me
usually i talk to them in hopes of getting their pic and they will bring up moving again even if i said goodbye

They told me they were moving and then they just didn't ever move D:

Did you TT to that day straight away?
The date they tell you is actually how many days until they move.
So if you tt to that day, it'll only count as one day. Keep TTing day by day until the number of days has past, at which point Isabelle will tell you they're moving.

I've tried straight tting there several times.
I've also tested it with going foward, back, skipping two, and it always ended with the amount of times I TT'd=the amount of days until they said they were going to move.
Maybe something's wrong with my game XD But I've tested this quite a bit, with the same results.

This has happened to me once before. I have no idea what the reason is, I think it is very rare and happens randomly. Did you talk to said villager after they asked to move?

Same here, I do this all the time when I want to cycle through villagers.


I've also had villagers I've said "yes, get out" to change their mind without telling me. Curlos did that in my main game. It must be kind of rare, though, since I've only had it happen once out of the 20+ villagers I've gone through.

So it can happen? Ugh this sucks I needed them. To move to make room. I usually can just time travel to the day and they are packed up and yeah.
But this time they just didn't.
It's so weird. I didn't even talk to them after they said they were moving. :c

Mine must just be constantly changing their mind while I TT then.

Well semi-untrue, everything other than that not working was true. It's just pointless/a lot more work I guess XD
