Have you been on either end of any random acts of kindness?

Today, my friend said I was a wonderful person, and that brightened my day!

Oh yes, there have been a few people that have paid for my coffee, and I have returned the favour.

I remember a few years ago, every morning I would make small talk with this one man who worked on our university campus. I don't know his name, but we talked daily. One day he paid for my coffee, that made my day!

One time we went to get our cats fixed, and the lady in front of us didn't have enough money to pay for her dog so a stranger helped her out.

That's all I can really think of. I've never had anything like this happen to me before so I don't really have any personal stories.

Last year we were on vacation in Florida and the receptionist guy at our hotel was really good so eventually I got him doughnuts as a thank you and he started crying it was bizarre

Well, I like it when people randomly compliment my outfit! ^o^
One time I went out of Math class to throw some trash and a guy walked by just to say, "Hi, I like your shirt, it's nice!" and it was the cutest thing ever! (I was wearing a cute Mike Wazowski shirt heh).
Another time, I was rushing to go to school (like it was 10 minutes before class and I was still at home) so I picked a random shirt and skirt and when I got to the clasroom (thankfully our professor wasn't around yet), my classmates noticed my outfit and went, "Oh, I love your outfit today!" and that made me smile a lot, despite me being shocked too since I picked my outfit without effort and care. ^^;

I don't know if this counts, but my brother bought me Master Detective Clue, because he overheard me talking about it to another sibling. I was saying that it was rare and expensive. A week later, he showed up at my house with the clue game. So sweet. He did the same thing when Happy Home Designer came out. He overheard me say that I wish I had bought the game that came with the amibo reader. So a week later, he shows up with the reader.

I was in line at the movies, and these two kids were trying to figure out what they could buy with 5 bucks. ( not much. Lol ) I gave them an extra 5, so they could get what they wanted.

I went to the supermarket on the way home for a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi. I wasn't really paying attention and the cashier put it through with the guy in front of me's stuff. I said that it was mine not his and tried giving him the money for it but he was like "nahh, don't worry mate, s'only a quid".

I've had lots towards me and I've done quite a lot for other people.
While I was in hospital a few weeks ago there was a guy there who didn't have any cigarettes and since he was having no visitors until later I gave him half a packet of mine to last him. There was also an old guy out there in a wheelchair, his son had brought him outside and it had started to rain, so I went over to see if he wanted me to move him under the shelter. He was so grateful and each time I saw him after that he would always speak to me.
Once there was a husky dog running in the road, holding up all the traffic behind him. I managed to corner him off and took him to the vets to see if he was chipped. Luckily he was and they contacted his owners.

Will always remember when I was unwell while out shopping I went to sit down outside the pharmacy area and somebody came to see if I was okay, even went and bought me some expensive migraine tablets and a cup of water. Wouldn't accept any money for the tablets either.
Then just a couple of weeks ago my car broke down about 2 miles from my house. This guy stopped to help me, pushed my car off the road and gave me a lift home since I hadn't got my phone or anything with me as I wasn't expecting to be out long.

wish someone would perform a random act of kindness and run me over in the street

Aww, don't say that! we'd miss you :(

I like giving random acts of kindness more than receiving them! I try to devote a portion of my money to give away to other people I think deserve it. Just recently I bought Fire Emblem: Fates (conquest) for my brother who's wanted it since release but didn't have the money. He was really happy and it made my day :D

I introduced my friend to overwatch. I'm sure she's on her path to enlightenment now

Haha same. Showed my friend the trailer (would've been a great as a movie too) and now she's hooked.

Also a lady let me go in front of her as a cashier was opening up because we only had three things on hand and she had a whole cart.

Quite the weird one here, but last week when I was out in a park, taking pictures with my classmates, there was this girl, maybe one or two years older than me, along with her friends. She and her friends placed themselfes on the bench in front of a fountain we were taking pictures of. Then, out of nowhere, she told me "woah, you've got a really nice ass. Excuse me for saying, but you really do.". Hahah, as weird as it sounds, I really liked that compliment. I happen to like my butt a lot, so those comments are always nice. :)

Depends, will you return the random acts of kindness to me?

No I don't want to dishonor my family like that.

What

Mostly on here tbh, but I've had a few people I know well at this one location, give me discounts on things at their shops. Just for being a regular and even though I don't buy something everytime, I always stop by to say hi. :)
