Random Facts in some manner could be considered as my specialty for however extent my pride allows it. I just really like sharing what I know, but will admit it can be in a bit of a random fashion depending on whats being discussed. Well allow me to save that by making a thread!

So what are some that you know? For instance did you know that due to an incident in his early life Leonardo Da Vinci is said to have become celibate which is further speculated by some of his writing on the subject of pro creation calling it "abysmal" and "disgusting"

Cows can walk up stairs but can't walk down them

You are more likely to die falling out of bed than in a plane crash

What... wt*^

Tomatoes are a potentially poisonous plant to goats and sheep.
Barbados Balckbellies do not grow horns.
Not all breeds of sheep grow horns.
Barbados Blackbellies are a breed of sheep that do not grow wool.
Not all breeds of sheep grow wool.
Some breeds of goats do grow wool.
Goats have 'accents'.
Goats have excellent balance.
Goats and sheep have a hierarchy. There are 'alphas' and 'omegas' in herds. This can be easily seen in feeding habits.
A group of sheep is called a flock, trip or heard.
Shar-peis used to be a fighting dog. The wrinkles was supposed to make it harder for any internal organs to be pierced.

Food facts to make you hate eating forever

Honey is bee vomit. Yum!

Red 40 is crushed beetle shells
But red #40 is made from coal and/or petroleum

Shellac is a secretion by a beetle that gives some candies it's beautiful shine.

Beaver butt glands aka castoreum, are used to enhance vanilla, raspberries, and strawberry flavoring!

Wasabi is actually horseradish and dye because real wasabi is hard to culminate, expensive and deteriorates in flavor and smell as soon as it's exposed to air when grated.

Eggs are chicken periods. I know that's obvious but if we actually think about it, it's freaking weird people eat them lol.

The most expensive coffees in the world require the digestion of animals to produce a milder bean.

Good because I got gross food facts for dayyyyyyys.

Gelatin, used to make gummy candies, Jello, pudding, and to thicken and set some foods (*coughCHEESECAKEcough*) among other things, is made from boiling down animal bones and marrow for its "gelatinous" properties. Usually pigs.
