What villagers do you have and how to you rate them from favourite to least favourite?

I don't have all of my villagers yet so i'll refrain, I only have three at the moment as i'm new to the game in a lot of ways, not just time. New Horizons is my first animal crossing game so i'm also new to the franchise in general. I think new horizons is all i'll need though until the next one comes out, now a life long fan!

 

[Moritz]

1) Tybalt. Hes my best friend in the whole of animal crossing. Even ordered a very expensive plush of him off etsy.

2) quillson. Hes just adorable. It's my headcanon that he's dating Tybalt.

3) sherb. Hes sherb. We all love sherb.

4) hes yet to move to my island, but egbert is so cute. He's agreed to move in and I am pretty excited to have him.

5) tiffany. Her playboy bunny looks are just too funny. In my head she always talks like she is trying to seduce you.

6) Peggy. Nothing special about her to make me love her. She was one of my starting villagers from last year. I got rid of her like 9 months ago because she was stuck in her starting house. I missed her so I brought her back.

7) Harry. Hes just a loveable old man hippo who loves fishing

8) cherry. She's a cool goth girl. Not an all time favourite but sisterly designs are nearly all ugly

9) maple. She's just kind of there.

10) cyd. I only have him for his pic. Will give him away for free once I have his pic. He's ungifted so I'm sure someone will be happy

1. Audie: She's been with me for a long while and is probably the only Peppy villager I like.

2. Judy: Whenever I look at her she reminds me of a certain anime show I like so I picked her.

3. Molly: She was the hardest villager to find but after 2 months she came to my campsite and she finally moved in. She's too adorable

4. Raymond: Yeah I know he's overrated but I like how he dresses with those glasses and suit. It makes him look important.

5. Fang: He's the only cranky villager that has a clean looking home

6. Whitney: I am not too keen into Snooty villagers but Whitney is pretty good.

7. Marina: I had her for the longest time and she is a really adorable. Reminds me of Birdo from Super Mario Bros 2.

8. Cherry: She has that red and black style I like. Not really a fan of Sisterly villagers but she stands out the most.

9. Muffy: Well I once liked her but she kinda was getting stale on me so I let her go but I have her photo so I remember her.

10. Louie: I really don't like Jock villagers but Louie was pretty decent he reminded me of Donkey Kong. I have his photo so he is not here.

1. Dom - I vibe with him and his memeable faces.
2. Audie - B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l *chefs kiss*
3. Sherb - There's never a time where I catch him taking naps all over the island.
4. Tybalt - He's a tiger with thicc eyebrows. How could I resist?.
5. Jay - He reminds me of Olaf for some reason with his expressions.
6. Stella - I got her from island hopping. She piqued my interest and
7. Skye - Love her but I already have her in one of my NL files. I like her house and she has a shared yard with Ruby.
8. Ruby - Love her but I already have her in one of my NL files. I like her house and she has a shared yard with Skye.
9. Flora - I used to have her in NL and moved her out. I decided to take her back in NH. She has a cute house exterior and fits in well near my wedding reception area.
10. Tammy - I don't mind her. If I could move her out I would but her house matches the area I have already.

Here are my villagers in my second island:
1. Lily - I've always wanted her.
2. Melba - A villager I've thought about having for a while since NL.
3. Tutu - A villager I've thought about having for a while since NL. Her house exterior fits well in my flower field.
4. Merengue - I have her in one of my NL files. Her house fits in well for an area I have.
5. Teddy - A bear with thicc eyebrows.
6. Apollo - A villager I've thought about having for a while since NL.
7. Wade - I found him while island hopping and I thought he was cool.
8. Bruce - I found him while island hopping and I thought he was cool.

 

[The Loyal Rat]

1. Chrissy: Sweetest and cutest villager all the time to me, she was also the only villager to send me a valentine via mail, and she was the one who threw my birthday party.

2. Bob: Dude is so weird and I love it, he always talks about wacky things and makes my day better just be seeing what he has to say. He looks likes he’s always in a daze haha.

3. Francine: She has just got style, and her design is really cute just like her sister! I like to think her and Chrissy are both retired one hit wonder idols.

4. Lolly: The normal personality is really kind and sweet, Lolly has been among my fav to talk to. Also, a cute cat.

5. Marshal: Our friendship goes back to New Leaf when he randomly moved just a few steps away from my house as one of the first villagers. The little guy is awesome.

6. Ankha: Just like Marshal she was one of my favs in New Leaf, also love how unique she looks!

7. Cherry: At first I didn’t care for her, but sisterly type villagers are just really cool and kind. She also has the only design of sisterly types that I like, also tomboys are cool yo.

8. Wolfgang: The wise old grump of the village, he gave me a garbage can for my birthday, felt like it was so sarcastic and I loved it.

9. Roald: Roald is like one of the cutest villagers ever, and penguins are my fav animal irl. But man...I personally dislike jock dialogue.

10. Judy: Shes totally anime and I love it. Would put her higher if I didn’t have two other snooty types I love so much!

 

[Bluebellie]

1. Raddle: I think he has the best design of all the villagers.

1. Rodeo: He is so beautiful.

2. Nan: I’ve had her in new leaf, have her in new horizon, she’s lovely.

4. Roscoe: he fits my town.

5. Mathilda: she fits my town.

6. Cole: he fits my town.

7. Agnes: She fits my town.

8. Curt: I love his bandage. His house also looks nice in my town. Not a favorite but not my least favorite.

9. Avery: I never thought I’d have an eagle villager, but he is ok, he is growing on me. I like how his house looks in my town. He isn’t my favorite, but I don’t see anyone else I’d like to replace him with, so for now he is a keeper.

10: Lucky : I want to like him, but his design doesn’t compare to new leaf. He just looks soooo white. Stands out too much in my town. Mostly my town colors are black grey and brown.

1. Ruby- she's an original and even still has her diy house, we're BFFS.
2. O'Hare- another original, he's really cool and has a travel theme which I like
3.Judy- didn't think I'd like her as much as I do but she's a pastel queen
4. Vic- Reminds me of my granddad
5. Francine- My BFF from NL
6.Genji- My second BFF from NL
7.Sherb- I didn't really want sheer but after seeing him in game on that island I couldn't just leave him there alone
8.Rory- one of my first villagers, and I surprisingly missed him a lot when I let him go- just recently got him back
9.Hopkins- my lazy boi, too pure for this world.
10. Vesta- Liked her in Pocket camp, but she's okay in NH. She's getting adopted today though.

in order: felicity, diana, judy, fauna, audie, kid cat, raymond, kabuki, ankha, phoebe.

felicity and diana are hands down my favorite villagers and i'll never let them go. audie and judy have definitely grown on me a lot, and even though i do already have peppy and snooty villagers i don't think i'd ever let them go. kid cat is my favorite jock and i adore him; i think raymond is so awkward i can't bear to part with him either.

fauna is a very sentimental villager to me (my first campsite visitor in acnl and first island visitor in acnh) but i think it's come time to let her go soon. ankha and kabuki i really love as well but i think having 5 cats and 3 snooties is a little much so i'm going to be shuffling them out once i get their photos as well. phoebe is my favorite uchi but for some reason i just am not enjoying her on my island so she'll eventually be leaving as well. i have a few ideas on who i'll be bringing in in their stead so i'm excited for that, though i really wish we could just have more villager slots since i really do adore all my residents as they are now :'(

Oooh this is so hard since I love them all and 99.9 percent of them are staying on my island.

1. Del: I love my old cranky buddy. His design is very cool, I love his navy blue/red combo, and his house is just as cool as he is. Plus Crankies are the best! <3
2. Tybalt: I love his thick ol' eyebrows, his brown stripes, his jock personality, and his house. He's such a sweetheart, even if he doesn't really fit my theme.
3. Tiffany: One of my all time favorites in general. I love her more risque design, her house, and her snooty personality!
4. Jacques: I love his hipster aesthetic, nice house, his beanie, his colors! He's a beautiful bird to me. Smug really does fit his struggling artist persona.
5. Elmer: Beautiful natural colors, cute 'lil sleepy face, darkly funny name. And he looks like Bojack Horseman, so that's a plus for me.
6. Piper: I love that she's based on a seagull/tern. She has a beautiful house too and isn't as "cutesy" as other Peppies, so I like her a lot for that.
7. Doc: Adorable glasses, beautiful study interior. Looks a lot like my boyfriend, so he's a keeper.
8. Diedre: I like her deer design and I love how soft pink clothes look on her. And her Fall-themed house is beautiful! I wish she didn't wake up so late though.
9. Eunice: I like her navy color and big eyes but I'm just not a huge fan of normal personalities. Clothing on sheep also looks a little weird and stretched out.
10. Rod: I love his bandana and cruise ship interior. But I'm not a huge fan of his purple color and his purple roof. Also he's so small that I can't see the clothes I give him half of the time. I might replace him with Peirce.

honestly, all of my villagers are a 10/10 - i love them a lot.

 

[Halloqueen]

I quite like all of the residents of my island. The residents of my Animal Crossing games are always ones I decide upon based on their designs and, since New Leaf, tied to a specific theme that I base the town/island around. That being said, ranking them by preference would probably look like:

1) Ribbot
2) Ankha
3) Vic
4) Pekoe
5) Tucker
6) Diva
7) Kabuki
8) Klaus
9) Bella
10) Annalisa

I've been considering possibly switching out Diva, Kabuki, and Annalisa and bringing Paula, Olaf, and Dobie in their places, but I'm not sure yet whether any of those will happen.

 

[Marshmallows]

I love all my current villagers and a lot that have left, as well. Fauna, Diana Zucker, Marina, and Twiggy will probably never leave... Julian, Bluebear, Carmen, Cookie, and Ruby may not stay forever, though I'm very fond of all of them. There's just too many villagers I like. I would like to have Felicity, Merry, Chrissy, Francine, and bring Coco back soon.

1) Klaus - This bear cracks me up
2) Elvis - Cranky and stylish, a man after my own heart
3) Eggbert - The most amazing lazy villager I've had on the island (and I've had a lot)*
4) Pietro - I know people hate clowns, but he's wild looking and interesting
5) Bluebear - She's fun and energetic, but she's dropping in my rankings every week
6) Cherry - Almost got rid of her but backed out at the last minute, she's a fun sisterly type
7) Tia - She looks so cool and is very sweet
8) Sterling - Just came to the island yesterday, so nothing to say besides he looks cool
9) Skye - Very pretty but dull
10) Jambette - Refuses to leave even though no one likes her (she is honestly very sweet but she needs to get the eff off my island).

*The Lazy designation seems off. Like, most of my lazy villagers have had books and science labs and stuff, and then they're talking about bugs and eating too much. Is the original Japanese something different? The wiki says "the name refers to their calm, laid-back lifestyle as well as their hospitable nature and love of food," which is not really what I think of when I think of lazy. Eggbert fits the lazy stereotype - he is chubby and has a relaxed interior. Doc lives in a library but he's lazy? GTFO Nintendo.

judy is absolutely beautiful, i love how her colours blend so perfectly and she's so sweet

chai is my 2nd favourite villager and i'm legit so happy she's finally on my island, like how could anyone not love her, she's the cutest!!

I love all my permanent villagers equally (Rolf, Punchy, Bob, Buzz, Hans, Rudy). Of course except Sterling who is on the very top. Best eagle bro. 11/10.

As for my temporary villagers, I like Maple. Raymond and Reneigh are fine and I like their designs. But I am completely fine letting them go.

Marshal: My favorite until the end of time. 10/10

Judy: Cute is too mild a word for her, I love her to pieces. 10/10

Diana: Just beautiful in every way. 10/10

Sherb: One look at that face and I was in love. 10/10

Fauna: Just adorable. 10/10

Stitches: Teddy bear, need I say more? 10/10

June: Love her eyes and her little flower. 10/10

Audie: A surprise dream villager with cute sunglasses. 10/10

Julian: My magical unicorn buddy since New Leaf. 10/10

Raymond: He showed up in the campsite and I grew pretty fond of him. 9/10 (only because I have three smug villagers and I could imagine myself replacing him with a different personality at some point).

1. Willow - My all time favorite villager who was one of my starters in New Leaf.
2. Ankha - Pretty much tied with Sherb.
3. Sherb - Pretty much tied with Ankha.
4. Phoebe - One of my starter villagers from New Leaf that I love.
5. Teddy - Also one of my New Leaf starter villagers who I loved.
6. Croque - Love his design and house exterior.
7. Marshal - Just a really cool smug villager.
8. Bunnie - I like her, but the peppy personality can be a bit annoying sometimes.
9. Lyman - One of my stater villagers that I am keeping.
10. Shari - Currently a villager I am trying to get off my island.
