Hun, you can request every villager I have (you'd need 20+ towns though) and it would perfectly fine.
I'm GMT-7 (it's 9:15 pm), so hopefully I can catch you tomorrow sometime.
In my experience, crankies are the sweetest villagers, I think you'll like him.
