Regular DS VS DS Lite

Ok! besides the ds lite have a way better screen lite thing over the regular. is there anything else that is better then the regular? just asking

It's smaller, it's easier to hold, it looks better, the stylus is smaller and therefore easier to use, the sound is better and it's lighter.

Actually, the big DS had the smaller stylus. But the DS LITE is a whole lot better. And my DSi is a whole lot better. (If and when I get one.)

i prefer the lite, even though the original is much tougher and can withstand drops without becoming seriously damaged.

it's just wether you want durability, or looks.

or you could wait for the DSi.

I like the DS Lite a lot more. Easier when on the go and you just wanna store it in your pockets. It doesn't drag your pants down as much as the regular. Plus the more power, brighter screen, etc.

I prefer the DS lite. I really like how bright the screen is. With the DS I could hardly see the screen at all, it was just too dark. The only truly bad thing about it is that the screen is smaller then the DS.

From what I hear, I won't get the DSi, the battery life isn't as good as the DSLite. Plus I love the feel of the buttons and the d-pad.

MUCH BETTER DS Lite obviously wins and it comes in cooler colors. i'm gettin metallic rose same day as city folk comes out (which i am also gettin wii speak!!!!)

I have the regular DS, but I want the Lite badly. The screen is a lot better imo and my battery life has diminished greatly. I got my DS back in '06 I believe.

Personally, my DSlite's L and R buttons both broke, as did my girlfriend's, and a few of my friends who own lites, unless you own a Triwing screwdriver or want to shell out 75$ every few months, i'd wait for a DSi.


Aside from that, the Lite has to be the best portable ever, its compact, sleek, bright screens, the stylus is way bigger, battery life longer, its an all around better system than the original.

I like the regular it's cool!
But yeah the brightness is a lot better on Lite.
The feel of regular is loads better.

i don't like the kind of box feel to the lite, i liked the slanted top part better on the original, but everything else on the lite is better.
