How do you remove ground tiles that have accidentally been spawned under a house, when the lot is otherwise all decorated and there is nowhere to move the house to for easy removal of the tiles underneath? A couple of times I have grabbed a tile out from under a structure, but it is kind of hit and miss. Is there a method for this?

Just drag it into the trash can and it's gone ^^ You have to select them manually though, you can't drag the area and delete several at a time. To get a tile from under a house you just hold the stylus where the tile is, through the house. It doesn't always work for me. But I do it all the time so I'm not sure where the cut off is.

alternatively, you could try shrinking the house to a small size temporarily, or worse deleting some items and putting them back. if you have to do this you can get them back easy by clicking the trash can

Thanks. It was the ones stuck under the house that were an issue for me. Sometimes I can grab them, other times not. Maybe it has to do with a precise spot like the center of the tile. In any case, I really like the idea of shrinking the house temporarily. That would work well.

I did not know about clicking the trash can. My usual style is to read the game manual thoroughly before playing and sometimes other references. I skipped the manual now that I think of it and raced through tutorials because I was just having so much fun and could not contain myself.

You have been very helpful on several posts. Your assistance is appreciated.
