Resetti Rescue Service isn't free...

I don't know why they would add getting stuck in this game. That doesn't seem very relaxing.

I really hope we can build bridges from day one if we gather the materials.

Oh, that's interesting. I assume that means your balance can go negative if you have to use it and don't have sufficient funds. Too many parallels to healthcare in some places!

I think this was their away around the unfortunate scenario of people getting stuck with no way to exit a location. With terraforming involved, it could be possible for you to (almost literally) dig yourself into a hole you can't escape from. The rescue service is a way to prevent your save file from being destroyed by doing something like this, is my assumption.

That makes sense, but if we are stuck, it should be a free trip back to our tent.

Maybe Lyle will show up later on and sell you rescue insurance that makes it free, at the cost of a certain number of bells per month!

Hehe, I'd pay that, as long as Lyle doesn't go on, and on, and on. :)

Imagine you pole vault, drop your pole, and let a co-op (local) player take it. Now you're stuck.

Chances are it'll auto-save before backing you out, so theoretically, you'd still be stuck. Unless you power down, but then you'll get yelled at by Resetti, and I'd rather spend the 500 whatever it is than hear him rant about why I didn't shut the game down properly.

I'm pretty sure the game will no longer complain about not saving. It will always just load the most recent save. whether is was manually or auto. And you will always spawn at your house.

I'm guessing it's all about connivance. If you're stuck, and you don't want to quit, yo use Resetti.

Oh... Well, I barely ever get "stuck" in my New Leaf town, so i'm sure I'll barely use this feature.

I would imagine if we got stuck and couldn't pay for the service we would just shutdown (it autosaves now) and restart. I'm sure our characters will still exit their houses like previous games. It's almost necessary they still exit their houses because you could get stuck in a growing tree, for example, if your character's exact position was always saved.

Hmm I though it was just something they added in to give Resetti a job and so you could fast travel...but reading this it very well could be possible to get stuck. Lol well better always have 500 nook miles on you.

It's more of a convenience thing. If you don't have the miles, or just want to save them, save and quite, then reload.
