Resetti’s new job? Mining?

I seen this on a video, but what if resetti?s new job involves mining? We can craft in the game...so why not?
Idk I kinda like this idea. What do you think?

I think it'd be really cool if his new job had something to do with the island's underground.

I wonder how they'll have his new job correlate to his name though.

Oh, mining would fit him perfectly. He can be specialised in ore/gem-related business and maybe help with crafting things out of it, though that would be taking part of Cyrus' job, lol
Something to do with fossils could be nice. Or maybe there will be something like an underground area to explore? Though I doubt they'll go into new environments like that.

That sounds like perfect job for him. Maybe with this we would finally get a underground part for our
town/island which we can explore. Would be cool if he also offer you to help him out if you would like.

Now that I think about it: Does Don Resetti also getting a new job? If so, the whole mining thing could
be something both Don and Mr. Resetti could do together, like a new service they both offer at a certain
part in the game to the player.

this makes a lot of sense for his design and species (mole if i'm not mistaken). he's already carrying a pickaxe. we've also seen just how fast he burrows under the ground. i know if it happens it will invite even more minecraft comparisons but honestly? i welcome the idea of mining in new horizons.

we also have the shovelstrike quarry in animal crossing pocket camp. i definitely feel like nintendo was intentionally testing out audience reaction by introducing the crafting and "mining" features.

not to mention those mysterious rocky areas at the top of the map. i don't think it's merely for the aesthetic. other fans have pointed out that in the E3 demo we saw what appeared to be verrrry thin lines that could indicate cave entrances or something similar. maybe the rocks on the island only have a very small chance of dropping gems. i don't know if we'll be unlocking undergrounf mining any time soon but i'd love that too.

i think mining is fairly probable seeing because of another thing i haven't seen discussed much yet: furniture customization. since we're building a lot from scratch it would make sense.

I felt bad when Mr. Resetti lost his job, but I'm glad he's getting a new one. The mining job could be perfect for him and possibly his brother too. They introduced gems in New Leaf, so I've always been wondering how they would make a return and the mining idea is just how I would see it would return. I like this idea a lot and I think it fits Mr. Resetti perfectly.

His new job should be data mining. Imagine him giving a hard time for those cheating/hacking. I wish they brought his character back from wild world.

I don't know if it's been asked yet, but will badly placed rocks make a return?

If so, perhaps Resetti could be hired to move them.

Yeah in another thread we've talked about how there might be caves in the northern part of the map where Resetti could be as a miner because he has a pickaxe and all. I think we are onto something here

I love the idea of an island underground -- but only if we can customise parts of it too! I'd love to decorate a cave that's all glittering with gemstones in the walls!

Yes, I already know about this innovation. By the way, no matter how strange it may sound, but I do not fully understand the concept in the game because there is realism. Developers constantly say that they add realism and want to make the game world look like the real one, but I don’t feel it. Just think, can you get any job without a resume? Of course not. For example, my neighbor recently saw a miner job and decided to try his hand at a new profession, but when he called he was asked for a resume. Even the miners are asked for a resume, and I don’t understand why no one realizes this in the game ... By the way, my neighbor was still able to get this job, and he made the resume thanks to the tips that I read on themoneymix.com. So think in my words!
