I feel like a goober, and perhaps someone else has experience with this?
I've popped a balloon present and could not find it at first, so I thought "Where did it go? Oh, there it is, on the unreachable fourth cliff that Nintendo won't let me scale.
Tried looking up glitching methods to grab it, but they seem to have been patched.
I tried using the pipes, thinking that if I surround one and go in the other, it'll pop me out onto the cliff, but that doesn't work either.
So...they pulled all of the tricks to avoid glitching the game, but didn't patch this one issue.
Long story short: does anyone know how I can get that balloon present down or will it despawn?

Edit: Okay, so I woke up this morning and started playing, only to find that the present has despawned on its own. Huzzah!
I couldn't find any recent news online of this happening, so I guess that it was a former bug that has since been patched. Either way, the situation has resolved itself. Don't you love it when that happens?
