We're all looking forward to being able to download classic games on our Revs...and we're all looking forward to playing awesome new games on our Revs...so why not combine the 2 to enhance the gaming experience?
I was thinking that when you download a classic game it would unlock special features in REV games. Either all games could have such a feature, or only certain ones. There's a couple ways this could be worked out:
1) Each month or so, a new set of unlockables would become available, and the previous month's would be gone. The unlockables would be for newer games - games released in the past month or two. The unlockables would be obtained by just downloading any game.
2) Unlockables could only be obtained by downloading certain games. Certain downloadable games would kind of be 'matched up' with REV games. Examples:
*Download F-Zero(SNES) onto your REV. You get an alternate outfit for Capt. Falcon in SSBR.
*Download Pokemon Stadium(N64) onto your REV. You get a Pokemon battle arena as a level in SSBR.
-Unlockables could be characters, items, levels, and much, much more!
